'Glory To Hong Kong'
Written by netizens online in 2019, amidst Hong Kong protests, the newly made ‘Anthem of Hong Kong Protests’ conveys the citizens beliefs and values in the lyrics written in Elizabethan English. The lyric video of the song shows Hong Kong’s colonial flag hung up in LegCo, expressing their wish of freedom from China’s hold, this mindset of Hong Kongers is largely influenced by the West and Hong Kong’s colonial past experience.
